The Social democratic party, (SDP) Obedient movement Okigwe South has officially adopted the candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) for House of Representatives , Hon. Chief Chipeuzo Michael Asawalam for Saturday election.
Spending, the Southeast coordinator of Obedient movement, Dr. Fabian Ihekweme , disclosed that Asawalam will give Okigwe South effective representation, adding that equity, fairness and justice must play a major role on the coming poll.
Dr. Ihekweme submitted ”we have come to a time where we must leave out sentiments and save Okigwe South by looking at individuals who can lead with the fear of God and provide gainful employment for the youths.
“He maintained that 2023 election should not be based on party , adding that all the political parties in the country have failed Nigerians, even NNPP but we must therefore look at individuals , people who can deliver .
“I am supporting Asawalam and make sure Okigwe South receives what belongs to them’, he said.
The Chairman Obedient movement SDP Okigwe south, Hon. Frank Aneke said that , Asawalam, who is their son and is their sole candidate for the Federal House of Representatives, stressing that they will galvanized and mobilized every single vote in ihitte -uboma for Asawalam and ensure he emerges victorious on February 25, election.
Mr Aneke also disclosed that Ihitte -uboma has no other candidate for the position of Federal House of Representatives except Asawalam.
A group of people from Ehime Mbano joined hands to support Asawalam as candidacy, while adding that in Okigwe South, Obowo, ihitte-uboma , Nsu and Amalaka na Orie has gone and that it’s now the turn of Umunumo to represent Okigwe South at the Green Chamber.
