The Ezinihite Mbaise State Constituency Standard bearer of Action Alliance,AA for Imo State House of Assembly in 2023 general elections,Amb. Comr. Ogbuokiri Uzochukwu Ubammadu has promised to reposition his Constituency if elected the House member.
Hon.Ubammadu popularly called “OGB” stated that his reign as a lawmaker will not be business as usual assuring his people of effective and all-inclusive legislative system. He regretted that Ezinihite Mbaise voice is no longer heard in the State House of Assembly for over a decade now assuring his people of a new down.
The AA flag bearer urged his people to vote for him and shun money bag politicians noting that the future of their children lies on their permanent voters cards. “I am sure that PDP and APC have failed us respectively. I have set the ball rolling,and I must make AA a household name in Ezinihite Mbaise LGA. I am assuring you that I will make our Constituency great again. And I have logical blueprints that would better the lives my people if elected”,the lawmaker hopeful promised.
Meanwhile,Mess7-7 Resort Centre Owerri, the capital city of Imo State was electrified on Sunday 5 June,2022 where delegates of the Action Alliance Party gathered to elect their Party’s standard bearers for the state House of Assembly come 2023 general elections.
There was tatus and ratus as eventually all the candidates emerged unopposed.
However, Hon. Engr. Chris Onyekachi Ononiwu emerged the Party’s flag bearer for Mbaitoli State Constituency, Hon. Eddyson Nwadiaru for Oguta State Constituency, Hon. Nzenwa Emmanuel Uche, Obowo State Constituency, Hon. Ogbuokiri Uzochukwu for Ezinihitte Mbaise State Constituency among others.
Addressing the party members and delegates, the Action Alliance,AA Chairman,Imo State Chapter, Hon. Anthony Ahaneku popularly called “Inine Isu” thanked the party delegates for their peaceful posture during the exercise and urged the newly emerged party standard bearers to ensure that Action Alliance, AA remain a house hold name in their localities.
Hon. Ahaneku boasted that his party has set up machineries in motion so as to ensure victorious outing come 2023 general elections.
Speaking to Journalists shortly after the exercise, the State Publicity Secretary of AA, Chief Andrew Enwerem who retired from Nigeria Police Force as Police Public Relations Officer,Imo State Police Command recalled that their party is among the strong party in the State having won six seats in Imo State House of Assembly and two seats(Imo) in the Federal House of Representatives in 2019 general elections.
Chief Enwerem who delved into active Politics upon his retirement as PPRO Imo Police Command reaffirmed their commitment to make more brighter outings in the forthcoming general elections.
He stated that the irregularities of the two major parties, ruling All Progressives Congress APC and People’s Democratic party PDP have become their advantage to emerge victorious in the 2023 general elections.
