Ahead of the 2023 National Assembly elections, the PDP Candidate for Imo East, Hon. Barr. Uche Onyeagucha has expressed optimism that he will emerge victorious in the forthcoming election. Onyeagucha stated this when he was addressing a mammoth crowd gathered to receive him at Owerri west recently.
Addressing the crowd, the former Secretary to the Government of Imo state said that, he has a firm believe and utmost conviction that he shall emerge victorious in the coming election, pointing out that no man can truncate the will of God or stop an idea whose time has come.
” I have a strong believe that by the special grace of God Almighty victory is assured. I am very optimistic about that. We are aware that the enemies of the people have vowed to truncate the will of the people. They are planning to use thugs to manipulate the forthcoming election because they are aware that the electorate are ready to vote for us, but God will disappoint them. We will not allow them to scuttle the will of the people of Owerri zone” he stated.
Onyeagocha’s candidacy is said to be gathering unprecedented momentum following massive support he receives from electorate in the zone and beyond.
The Owerri born politician was said to have just concluded his ward rallies in all the political wards of Owerri zone is said to be ahead of his opponents in terms of consultation and reaching out to the electorate. Many believe that among all the Candidates jostling for the Imo East Senatorial seat in the forthcoming election, he seems to be the choice of the people of Owerri zone
He later admonished the people to remain focused and not to be distracted by the evil plots of the enemies who are frightened by his popularity and massive support from the electorate.
