As Nigerians are preparing to go to the polls by next weekend, High Chief Kerian Amadi has passionately appealed to Imo State electorates to vote massively to candidates of All Progressives Congress, APC as a strategic means of sustaining their relevance and benefits in the national politics.
Amadi who’s the Owerri Zonal Chairman of Independent Campaign Council, ICC of Tinubu/Shettima presidential bid gave the advise while addressing news men on Friday concerning his assessment of the mega presidential rally recently organized for the duo in Owerri, Imo State capital.
He applauded Chief Tony Mgbeahuruike, the State Commissioner for Livestock for his unflinching supports to the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his running mate Alhaji Kassim Shettima as well as other candidates of the party.
The political chieftain said it point blank that Chief Mgbeahuruike as a loyal and humble party man was also a rally point and political pillar in Mbaise bloc and advised him not to relent in his patriotic services to humanity.
According to him”Governor Hope Uzodimma did marvelously well during the mega rally. The mobilisation was unprecedented. Our Presidential candidate, his Deputy and party national leaders were impressed. President Buhari was overwhelmed with happiness. Imo APC just made a serious political statement with the rally”.
The ICC Owerri Zonal Chairman who further described Mgbeahuruike as an examplary political leader with grips of the masses and the political classes, also commended him for persistently exhibiting qualities of political maturity, progressiveness and inclusiveness in his compassionate but dogged vision and mission of marketing, planting and institutionalizing APC as the enviable political party in Mbaise ancient clan and its environ.
Amadi who described Tinubu/ Shettima presidential ticket as the best among the presidential front-runners assured that the party in collaboration with the campaign council has done enough mobilization and sensitization in the State for the presidential candidate and other candidates of the political party to massively win.
He equally lauded Governor Hope Uzodimma for the appointment of Mgbeahuruike in his cabinet reiterating that Governor Uzodimma through his visionary, purposeful and all inclusive leadership have restored hope and confidence in governance among Imolites and Nigerians at large.
The political icon further expressed gratitude to Okenze Sylvester Obinna, the State Coordinator of ICC as well as Chairman of Ngor Okpuala Local Government Area campaign council for being dogged and inclusive in his efforts in marketing the party’s candidates, which he noted to have motivated the people in their resolve to come out en masse to vote for the candidates of the party.
He expressed happiness on the willingness of the people to massively vote for the candidates of APC during the elections saying it always pay to belong to the mainstream of government insisting that despite certain man made challenges in the country, APC administration has done marvelously well in Nigeria, within the confines of the prevailing circumstances and therefore deserved the people’s mandate again.
