The Coordinator of Agwa Development Centre in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State, Hon. Obinna Jumbo has commended the Executive Governor of the State, Senator Hope Uzodimma for the overwhelmingly victory of All Progressives Congress,APC in the just concluded general elections in Nigeria.
Speaking to journalists in Imo Government House, Owerri on Wednesday, Hon. Obinna popularly called “Akajumbo” attributed the landslide winning of the ruling APC to the laudable achievements of Governor Uzodimma.
He described the last elections as the most peaceful exercises he has ever witnessed as a Development Centre Coordinator.
“The elections were very peaceful in our three wards of Agwa and Oguta generally. APC is the ruling party and it has the capacity of defeating opposition parties.
Labour Party has no existing structures.
Let me seize this opportunity to ask the new crop of the elected leaders to run an inclusive and open-door policy. The elected lawmakers should not see any of their constituents as a member of opposition party. Time for politics has come and gone. The next is governance”, Jumbo stated.
