The people of Osu,Mbama and Ugiri clans in Isiala Mbano Council Area of Imo State have unanimously resolved to vote for Hon. Engr. Chima Akuzie of the African Democratic Congress,ADC who is jostling to represent the State Constituency in the House of Assembly.
According to them,”Engr. Akuzie remains the only candidate that through character wise would give Isiala Mbano people their deserved representation in Imo State House of Assembly as well as giving hope to the teeming unemployed youths if elected the member of the 10th Assembly come Saturday 11th March,2023.
Hon. Engr. Chima Akuzie has remained steady-fast in empowering youths and had written his name in the “Guinness book of records” in terms sponsoring football tournaments in Isiala Mbano for which many talented youths have benefited from his tournament scheme. He anchored his campaign on integrity and good representation across the political blocs in the Council. And his milestone antecedents speak volume”.
Speaking during his campaign rallies, the former, Executive Chairman of Isiala Mbano Local Government Area, Sir Jude Mbachu, from Umuozu Ugiri Autonomous Community and a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress,APC disclosed that Hon. Akuzie is currently enjoying the support of Isiala Mbano people across party levels because of his sterling qualities and kind hearted posture.
Sir Mbachu maintained that the House of Assembly position is meant for those who have the grassroots at heart insisting that the candidate of ADC, Engr. Akuzie has proved beyond reasonable doubt that his going to the Assembly in 2023 is in the general and collective interests of Isiala Mbano Constituents.
He gave more insights on the person of Engr Akuzie ranging from his first meeting with him till date and pointed out that the people of Isiala Mbano is blessed to have such a wonderful philanthropist, humble, intelligent and good brother.
In his remark, the ADC National Vice Chairman South East, Pastor Chilos Godsent, said that he is overwhelmed with the massive turn out for the event and expressed confidence in the person of Engr Akuzie that he will make list of the next Imo State legislators. He used the medium to call on the people of Ugiri clan to see the election as theirs and rally behind Engr Akuzie as he has great packages for the people.
He revealed that there are plans underway to bring company to the Ugiri centre ,”Nkwo Mbaa” and ensure that the Mbano proposed State Polytechnic Campus is realized.
Pastor Chilos Godsent, who doubles as the Party Candidate for the Just concluded National Assembly election said that the people should put the sentiments and action of the past Presidential and National Assembly elections behind and come out enmass to support and vote for ADC candidate Engr. Chima Akuzie in the forthcoming State House of Assembly election for Isiala Mbano State Constituency.
While, the Chairman of ADC in Isiala Mbano, Comrade Onwueme and High Chief Mahakwe, maintained that the forthcoming election will be a victorious outiny for ADC candidate and urged the party members to be vigilant and ensure that their votes count. “We will do the needful by not allowing what happened in the Presidential and National Assembly elections to happen to us”.
Meanwhile,Engr. Chima Akuzie has predicted the readiness of the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma to maintain impartial posture on coming Saturday’s election urging electorates not to be afraid whether the governor will back rigging of the election in favour of the ruling APC.
Engr. Akuzie described the governor as the father of the and wouldn’t want the House of Assembly election to go against the wish of the people.
He urged his people to come out enmass and vote for him assuring them that their votes must count. He promised to work with the Executive Arm of Government to attract all the necessary dividends of democracy to the people of Isiala Mbano and Okigwe zone in general if elected the House member.
