August 5 (Newshour.com.ng) – The Imo Transporters have unanimously rejected the calculated attempt to destroyed the hard earned image of the General Manager of Imo State Environmental Transformation Commission, Engr Francis Chukwu by some unknown hired detractors who used the name of Imo Transporters to destroy innocent people. They group uncovered the fabricated plots to blackmail him through falsehoods and trumped up allegations.
Speaking, some members of Imo Transporters who do not want their names mentioned said that the writer up was completely falsehood and baseless because it was not coming from the proper channel.
“Imo State Transporters have a unified Associations standing as it’s mouthpiece in any matter of urgent importance or concern as regards to the external and internal affairs management of the sector including negotiating with the government on the issues of Revenue generations and other related obligations”.
“The duo of one Comrade Chibuike Nwaturuocha and Chief Emma Dike are unknown to the management and members of the State private Transport sector including National Union as any information credited to them by the publication from one of the tabloid based in Imo State remained null and void and of no meaningful effects to the Transport Sector and the GM Engr Chukwu.”
Whereas the Leadership of the National Union of Road Transport Workers under Comrade Sam Ude and Imo City Transport Chairman Elder Anaelechi Ukawunne are formidable and intact in a bit to drive home the governor’s policy to the State.
In this weekend publications in one of the State based tabloid front page with “Transporters Demand Sack of ENTRACO GM Over Double Taxation, Extortion” that’s simple laughable and blackmail meant to destroyed the hard earned image of the easy going and results oriented General Manager Imo State Environmental Transformation Commission Engr Francis Chukwu who was recently redeployed to the Commission from Owerri Capital Development Authority.
It would be recalled that those against the GM ENGR CHUKWU have made frantic efforts in the past to eliminate him but by the special grace of God he was saved and now they have decided to incite him against the people of the State which is nonetheless efforts in vain because Engr Francis Chukwu has remained a core and ardent Governor Hope Uzodimma’s humble servant with a let us go approach working in the synergy with other Governor’s Aides to achieve success.
It is pertinent to note that Engr Francis Chukwu has earlier in an officially press statement distanced himself and his Staff from involvement in anything issues concerning Traffic management in the Transport sector with a special focused on the way and means to enhance the Environmental Transformation and Cleanliness of the State in accordance with the enabling law’s of the Commission’s.
When Contacted, Engr Francis Chukwu said that it’s needless for him to react to such an unfounded and fabricated falsehood against him and called on media institutions and establishments to indulge in objectives and professionalism.
