Following a recent break through in global solar energy installation technology called Biomass by a United Kingdom Technologically based company, and in fulfillment of Imo State government Shared Prosperity and 3R administrative mission and vision,Chief Obioma Success Akagburuonye, has advised the State Government to immediately install the agricultural perishable preservative technology as a pilot project in the three senatorial zone of the state, identifying this as a strategic means of ensuring an enhanced economic stability and job creations.
Akagburuonye who’s the founder and National Leader of Hope Rising For Imolities, a subsidiary of Global Support for Nigeria gave this patriotic but passionate advise during the well attended 14th Batch Graduation Ceremony of the youth empowerment programme on Solar Panel Installation and Maintenance for self reliance, powered by Hope Rising for Imolites held at Hope Rising Headquarters, Akaraugo Secretariat Ogbo Uvuru in Aboh Mbaise local Government Area of Imo State.
According to the National Leader ” the Biomass is part of the innovations solar energy technology has invented through our U.K based technical partner. The technology can empower more than 40 feet cold room that can preserved all kinds of perishable goods brought by the populace within an environment. It will employ minimum of 21 youths per location and generates substantive revenue to the state government.
Having access to the technology, we are simply seeking for the government approval or collaborative partnership to introduce the scheme as a pilot project in the three senatorial zone of the state. It will just run for a month or two for Imolites to test and confirm the cumulative potentials of the scheme before full implementations” he re-advised.
The Facilitator insisted that the project if implemented would be a subtle means of saying bye bye to high cost of living and total eradication of fuel consumption system, he was optimistic that his organization is equally advancing her youths empowerment programme towards the area.
While advising the participants on the need not to abuse the opportunity offered to them, even though the programme is comprehensively free that he personally spends a minimum of five million Naira to ensure that each batch received certified training.
Akagburuonye who’s popularly known as Akaraugo 1 na Mbaise also pointed out that he is being propelled by his disposition and love for Nigerian youths especially those from Imo State .
He however, lamented that the organization’s multi-million Naira recently imported CCTV training equipments which landed Apapa wharf for about 2 months now have not been cleared due to Customs bureaucratic bottlenecks and expressed disappointment over the unwarranted demurrage it’s incurring and appealed to the state government for an immediate assistance in securing the equipments.
According to him ” Nigerian youths need to be self reliance by acquiring skills relevant to the 21st century. Am equally motivated by Imo State government friendly policies and programmes on matters concerning her youths.
I stand bold to say that Governor Hope Uzodimma means well to Ndi Imo. He is on a divine mission. Imo youths needs positive and revolutionary directions” he insisted.
Akagburuonye who through Hope Rising for Imolites organization for the past 6 months has freely sponsored about 1,600 youths of the state, who are both male and female in Solar Panel Installation and Maintenance also informed that either Senior School Certificate Examination, SSCE, NECO and GCE results as the minimum qualifications for the free training and within the ages of 20 and above, however he added that those who are naturally skilled in technical matters are equally benefiting for an improvement.
The National Leader described the 14th batch graduands as being very lucky as some of them may have the opportunity of traveling abroad for a certified Diploma certificate in Solar Energy by a renowned institute.
He advised the graduands not to take the opportunity for granted informing that the new world order is tilting towards solar energy while thanking God for His sufficient grace upon his life.
Earlier in his speech, Hon Mrs. Rubby Emele, the Imo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs who ably represented Governor Hope Uzodimma expressed gratitude to Almighty God for creating men like Chief Success Akagburuonye who spends their time thinking for the well being of others.
The Governor observed that skills acquisition is what is currently needed to survive the global economy and enjoined the participants to consider themselves highly privileged and further applauded Akagburuonye for his untiring efforts in sponsoring Imo youths in learning how to catch fish instead of given them fish to eat.
He insisted that artisans are veritable sector in national economy discuss and in an effort to reclaim the middle class and stabilized the economy through transfer and rippling effects.
According to the Uzodimma, ” Akagburuonye gesture is a practical demonstration of a private individual helping the Government in solving some societal problems. The state government is not unapprehensive of all his good gestures to the society especially through Hope Rising for Imolites, soon, the Shared Prosperity and 3 R administrative mantra of Governor Uzodimma will finalized mutual partnership with the organization in the overall benefits of Imolites” he stated.
The Governor further advised Akagburuonye not to relent on his labour of love to Imo youths while appealing to corporate bodies and wealthy individuals to emulate the good examples of Akagburuonye in youth empowerment model.
In his speech, Pastor Iyke Onuoha, who ably represented Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, the wife of Ondo State Governor and the Director General of her 2023 Imo East Senatorial ambition commended the facilitator for his patriotism noting that the usage of solar energy is endless.
Anyanwu-Akeredolu who further described Akagburuonye as being visionary and a philanthropic contemporary also enjoined the graduands on the need for them to build self confidence, trust, morale and competence in their practice as a strategic means of enhancing their productivity, relevance and entrepreneurship before their various publics.
The Senatorial hopeful said it point blank that the nation’s dream on industrialization can only be realistic through solar energy policy implementation as well as youths empowerment through skills acquisition stressing that her foundation has done creditably well in that area while reassuring of his commitment in partnering with Hope Rising for Imolites in the overall interest of the state and Nigeria at large.
Some of the graduands who spoke like Messrs Ike Franklin Agu, Akuchie Henry Onyemauchechukwu, Edeh Precious Onyinyechi and Iregbu Chibueze expressed satisfaction for the programming.
They thanked Chief Akagburonye for investing in them and enjoined Imo youths to embrace the programme so as to create employment opportunities and jettison anti social vices and criminal activities among themselves.
The highlights of the occasion was cutting of gigantic cake for the batch in commoration of the Easter celebrations and Resurrection of Jesus Christ and presentation of certificate of certification to the graduands by the representative of Governor Hope Uzodimma and group photographs.
