June 20 (Newshour.com.ng) – The General Manager of Everight Diagnostic Company, Mr Jude Ugwu has stated that Everight Diagnostic Company remains ever reliable, trusted and best diagnostic centre in Nigeria.
He stated this while addressing Newsmen who paid him a courtesy visit, in his office at Owerri, last weekend.
The GM who is also a medical laboratory scientist noted that Everight Diagnostic Company remains ever right according to its name in diagnosis business.
Mr Ugwu who was accompanied by his managerial team to the meeting stated that Everight is a well known company in Nigeria adding that it started its operations in Lagos but came to Imo state in 2023 because they saw the need to bring back home what they are giving out to people out there. ” We believe in ourselves, our results because we know that our results have helped Physicians to bring back on their feet, people who were sick.”
He stated further that the standard they brought to Imo has pushed other laboratories to upgrade their standard too which is a very good thing that has happened to the Easterners.
” We are vast in what we do in diagnostic business and our services cover both pathology and urology, and we have experts in these areas, he noted.”
Ugwu said they can beat their chest to say that any result that comes out from their laboratories can be compared with any other results from any part of the world.
” Our services range from finding out what causes diseases and following up treatments as to discover whether the person is recovering or not, we were privileged in running covid-19 test when it came because we have the capacity and had established a molecular testing lab even before the advent of covid, we handled most of the covid test in Imo.”
He said: ” Having ameliorated the sufferings of the masses , employed many people, paid our taxes and dues to the government, we however urged Imo government to support our business to grow.”
Through our health care foundation, Everight has assisted many indigent persons in the society to solve their health problems for free. We try to put human face in what we are doing. In addition we give palliatives to people like rice, beans, indomies, yams etc and we have made it a practice by choosing randomly which village to visit. We support motherless babies home as part of our corporate social responsibility.”
Mr Ugwu enjoins Nigerians to always go for medical check- up to know the state of their health.
Mr Ogbonnia Ekoma Okereke, a quality control manager in Everight advised that running test regularly is good because early discovery of Ill health lead to quick intervention as prevention is better than cure. Other members of the team who were present include Mr Chibuikem Ugory, gold service executive, and Mr Nwordu Iheanyi Kenneth, the human resources manager.
