The Candidate of Social Democratic Party, SDP in the forthcoming general elections for Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Vincent Okechukwu Madu has promised to end insecurity through job creation if elected the member of the green chamber.
Speaking during the Town Hall meeting organized by Owerri Archdiocesan Justice, Development and Peace Commission, JDPC for National Assembly Political Parties’ Candidates recently, Hon. Madu popularly called “Orlando” disclosed that he has streamlined action plans that would end youth idleness in his Federal Constituency if not in the whole of Imo State so as to curb incessant killings and other related social vices in the society.
He regretted that Imo State is statistically parading the highest number of unemployed graduates in Nigeria, while revealing that he has engaged the youths of his area on round table conference on how to empower them in different skill acquisition programmes.
Orlando who introduced himself as a village head from Oru-East Council Area of Imo State insisted that he understands the current challenges of the youths and would do better than any other candidate if elected the member of the Federal House of Representatives.
“It’s no longer the issue of political parties, but who has the capacity to deliver. Our youths are industrious and will not indulge in crime if there are jobs. I am urging my people to vote for me on 25th February, 2023 as I will not disappoint them”,he assured.
