June 20 (Newshour.com.ng) – The Imo indigenous commercial drivers operating in Abuja, the capital territory of Nigeria have endorsed the current Executive Governor of imo state, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma (Onwa Oyoko) for his re-election bid come November 11,2023.
The statement signed by their leader,Mr. Ethelbert Iheanacho read “we want to use this medium to thank Governor Uzodimma for appointing one of our own as the Chairman of Imo City Transport, Elder Anaelechi Ukanwunne, Aka Obowo. We also appreciate him for giving free fuel to 15000 Imo drivers 2times in 2 years”. “He has made tremendous impact in the areas of Road by constructing various Roads like Okigwe Road, Orlu Road, Owerri-Umuahia Road, Chukwuma Nwaoha Road, Dick Tiger Road and other Roads. Other areas he has impacted on imolites are in the areas of salary which is promptly being paid. Not forgetting the ongoing dredging of urash River where the first seaport in the South East will be located. We wish to use this medium to thank him for the good work and to also urge other well meaning Imolites to support his good work by voting him for second term”.
