As Nigerians are again preparing to go to polls next Saturday to elect Governors and members of the State Assembly of their choice, Chief Kerian Amadi has thrown his political weight in asking Imo State electorates to vote massively for all the 27 Imo House of Assembly candidates of All Progressives Congress, APC just as he applauded Hon. Anthony Mgbeahuruike for galvanizing votes and support to the nation’s President – Elect, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Alhaji Kassim Shettima, during the just concluded Presidential and national assemblies elections in Imo State
Amadi who’s a chieftain of APC in the State as well as the Owerri Senatorial Zone Chairman of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential bid, Independent Campaign Council (ICC), Imo State chapter gave the charge on Saturday in his Owerri office while speaking to newsmen on the appreciative roles his council played towards delivering the President-Elect and his running mate in the state as well as the tremendous support and encouragement they received from Mgbeahuruike who’s the State Commissioner for Livestocks.
According to the political chieftain, “the success APC recorded in Owerri senatorial zone during the last elections are linked to the dogged efforts of Governor Hope Uzodimma and strategic political goodwill of Mgbeahuruike”.
He expressed optimism that Imo electorates will vote for all the House of Assembly members of APC political platform in view of the goodwill the State government have garnered among the populace.
Amadi further revealed that Mgbeahuruike has commenced a ward to ward campaign with his aides for the forthcoming House of Assembly election starting with Ahiazu Local Government Area of the State convincing the electorates on why they should vote the candidates of APC.
According to the astute politician, “Chief Tony Mgbeahuruike of Ahiazu Mbaise who’s the State Commissioner for Livestocks is a trustworthy progressive politician that believes so much in the good and visionary leadership of APC government. He has again started mobilizing and spending so as to ensure APC in Imo State gets a landslide victory during this Saturday election” he noted.
Amadi applauded Governor Uzodimma for the appointment of Mgbeahuruike in his cabinet reiterating that the Governor through his visionary, purposeful and all inclusive leadership have restored hope and confidence in governance among Imolites and therefore deserves a second tenure.
The political icon optimistically assured of the people’s willingness to massively vote for the candidates of the party in the forth coming elections saying it always pay to belong to the mainstream of government insisting that APC has done marvelously well in the country, within the confines of the prevailing circumstances and therefore deserved the people’s mandate.
