The Presidential candidate of labour party, His Excellency Mr Peter Obi has assured Imolites that during his reign as president, Imo state will start harnessing its potentials in Palm Oil and cassava by exporting the products to earn huge revenue for the state.

He stated this during his campaign rally in Owerri Imo state on Tuesday.

The Presidential hopeful noted that Imo state has great potential in Palm oil which has equivalent earning capacity as crude oil and not supposed to depend on federal allocations for sustainance; adding that as president, he would open channels of export for Palm oil and cassava.
” Imo state has great potential in palm oil, Adapalm can produce palm oil for export, we shall go back to agriculture, and shall open channels of exports for Palm oil and cassava to earn huge revenue as to create wealth and jobs for the youths and women,” he stated.
The former governor of Anambra state said young people with energy will be appointed to run the affairs of the government.
“Corrupt people will not be appointed into my government because my Vice and myself are not corrupt. I will work for Nigeria the way I worked for Anambra state,” he said.

The Vice Presidential candidate, Dr Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed said all Nigerians have accepted Mr Peter Obi.
“We have reasoned it, this is the time for Peter Obi to be president of Nigeria. Nigeria will move from Consumption to production economy, from poverty to prosperity” he noted.
He urged Imolites to give Peter Obi 100% of their votes so as to secure the future of their children.

The Presidential spokespersons of ObiDatti campaign, Dr Yunusa Tanko said the youths and women are behind the presidential hopeful Mr Peter Obi and that will make him to win this election. He added in the North polling booth canvassers have been arranged to defend the votes of the labour party and many youths volunteered to do so because they are tired of the fake promises of APC and PDP.
” Nigerians youths have made up their minds to change bad leadership saying it is not about religion or tribe but about competence and capacity with good health to perform, and Peter Obi and Datti have those qualities” he stated.

The national chairman of Labour party, Comrade Julius Abure said among the presidential candidates,the most competent is Mr Peter Obi; adding that he is the only one who can wipe away the tears of Nigerians in 2023.
