IPOB blasts Governor Uzodimma over insecurity in Imo

…Alleged that he created a criminal gangs to blackmail IPOB, ESN

… Asked members to be watchful as Kanu’s supreme court case comes up

May 7 (Newshour.com.ng) – The Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB has blasted the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma over the insecurity in Imo. They alleged that he was behind the killings in the state.
In statement by IPOB spokesperson, Emma Powerful, the group accused the state governor of sponsoring Ebubeagu militia and other criminal gangs in a bid to blackmail IPOB and ESN
See IPOB statement below

IPOB PRESS RELEASE,
07/05/2023.

IPOB CONDEMNS THE MURDEROUS REGIME IN IMO STATE AND ASK BIAFRANS TO BE WATCHFUL AS MNK’s SUPREME COURT CASE COMES UP.

The global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of Nwachineke Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU once again condemn the murderous regime of the Supreme Court imposed Administrator of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma.
We are baffled with the high level of insecurity in Imo State, created by Hope Uzodinma’s militia called Ebubeagu and other sponsored criminals he is using to blackmail IPOB and ESN. The manner in which these criminals are killing and abducting the good people of Imo State is barbarous.
Since the implant of the Fulani Agent, Hope Uzodinma in Imo State, peace has eluded Alaigbo, and the once vibrant Eastern Governors forum has crumbled and gone dumb. No meaningful or cohesive discussion has taken place among Igbo Leaders when the Fulani agent in their midst is committing mayhem in Imo State. He created criminal gangs and later hijacked and turned Ebubagu militias into a kidnap and killer squad against those opposed to his fulanization agenda.
After over three years of his murderous and destructive regime, his ambition for second term in office has made him go “gaga” against oppositions. He has succeeded in eliminating some of his political opponents while others are being threatened to be forcefully discouraged of their governorship ambitions. His plans are to plant psuedo governorship contenders in other political parties. He knew that given opportunity for fair and free election, he could not win in any polling boot in the state.
We know that Imo State Indigenes will not allow the Vampire and his Fulani Masters to rig himself back into office.  The people of Imo State must resist his intimidation and ensure that the vampire and his killer gangs do not get their mandate to continue the killing. All the crimes committed by Hope Uzodinma and APC federal government, including Ebubeagu militia, will not be forgotten so quickly.
The continued insecurity in Imo State, especially around Orsuihiteukwa in Orsu LGA axis by Ebubeagu security militia and criminals recruited by DSS and Hope Uzodinma to demonize IPOB and ESN must not go unpunished. We want our people to understand that we are innocent of all their media propaganda and blackmail against IPOB and ESN. Uzodinma knew very well that IPOB’s hands are clean, and he once publicly confessed IPOB’s non involvement in the insecurity situation in the East.
The public should know that Hope Uzodinma’s butcher called Chinasa Nwaneri has committed heinous crimes against humanity in particular against IPOB members and will not go unpunished. Their current tactics are to kidnap those who may oppose their political agenda to an unknown location for elimination.  We are warning the Imo Vampire and his butcher to release those they kidnapped unharmed.
It’s very important that we advise Biafrans, particularly those of us in the South East, to be circumspective in their movement these days as the case of Onyendu at the Supreme Court of Nigeria is coming up. It’s obvious that our enemies have already alerted their Security and Criminal Agents who have started attacking people and security forces in the East to blackmail IPOB and ESN so as to pollute the minds of the Supreme Court Judges handling Mazi Nnamdi KANU’s case. We can assure all of them that their plans are dead on arrival. We, therefore, ask our people not to yield into the plans of our enemies but to remain calm, peaceful, and prayerful.  Mazi Nnamdi KANU has not committed any crime known to local or international laws but is being held illegally in DSS solitary confinement because of ethic profiling and prejudice. He must be set free by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

COMRADE EMMA POWERFUL, MEDIA, AND PUBLICITY SECRETARY FOR IPOB.
