July 1 (Newshour.com.ng) – The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Sir Tony Ejiogu has stated that he is set to take over Imo state government house from the incumbent governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma come November 11th, 2023.
Sir Ejiogu who was received by his followers and supporters at the APGA Secretariat Egbu road Owerri last weekend when he made a triumphant entry into Imo state for the upcoming governorship election, stated this while addressing the mammoth crowd and members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA.
The Emekuku born guber hopeful said APGA has come to stay in Igbo land and will definitely win the upcoming November 11th Imo governorship Elections.
Mazi Ejiogu urged the APGA faithful to remain steadfast, unmovable as he has all it takes to win the election.
He however thanked them for trooping out en masse to welcome him and assured them of his readiness to take over Imo government house while praying God to bless them.
The financial and Management Consultant and the former Special Adviser to Imo state government said he is the most credible alternative to govern Imo state come November 11th and urged them to support him.
” We are here to provide credible solutions to the menaces facing Imo people, he noted.”
In his speech, the Imo state Chairman of APGA, Chief John Iwuala said the rescuer of the rescuers has come to rescue Imo.
” Here we have an Economic guru, a financial expert, solution provider, has come to rescue Imo from the hucks and sharks.”
Chief Iwuala noted that Governor Hope Uzodinma said the only parry he is afraid of is APGA, adding that it is indivisible, indestructible and unconquerable.
” We are making a movement to metamorphose APGA into a religion that would be worshipped and the leader of the team is Sir Tony Ejiogu. He has all it takes to buldose all mountains before him in Imo state.”
He appreciated the members and the mammoth crowd for their support and solidarity, and enthusiasms they have shown by coming out en masse to welcome the incoming governor of Imo state. According to him, they are bringing back the glory of APGA and will give it back to the owners (the people).
A representative of the National working committee, Chief Tony Emereole said, there is no problem in APGA , no division, adding that the status quo remains till after the governorship election, stressing that the most important thing is to deliver their governorship candidate as he would lead the campaign.
The father of the APGA governorship candidate, Chief Ambrose Ejiogu , a renowned politician said his son is the best qualified for the job, though not too rich but has the requisite experiences and technical knowhow to do the job, adding that he would not disappoint Imo people if given the opportunity having been trained in the best schools in the world.
The governorship candidate was also received by his Emekuku people amidst accolades and jubilations.
