As 2023 general elections draw nearer, Stakeholders in Uwaorie Agwa ward, Oguta local government area of Imo State, have expressed their support to Apostle Bethel Williams Onumajuru, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for Oguta State Constituency.
The Uwaorie leaders, who made their position known during a Stakeholders’ meeting held recently, expressed joy that Apostle Onumajuru they described as one of their illustrious sons, made up his mind to run for the position, saying that they are strongly behind him.
While assuring the APGA Candidate of their readiness to ensure that the Divine Mandate is actualized in 2023, they said that Uwaorie, one of the heavily populated wards in the Oguta local government area would be a ‘no go area’ for other candidates, even as they noted that it was the turn of Agwa to produce the next Lawmaker in the State Constituency.
Earlier in his speech, the House of Assembly candidate, Apostle Onumajuru, who took time to brief the leaders of his political ward on the extent he has gone, said that he had recorded progress, as was generally accepted by leaders of the eleven wards of Oguta local government.
Thanking the leaders of Uwaorie ward for their unalloyed support and encouragement starting from the day he declared his intention to run for the position, Onumajuru assured that he would not disappoint them if elected a Lawmaker come 2023 general elections.
The APGA Candidate appealed for more support, and expressed the hope of winning the election with the acceptance and endorsement of the three wards of Agwa, adding that he is sure of getting a reasonable vote from other words in State Constituency.
Apostle Onumajuru re-assured the electorate and entire people of the Oguta State Constituency of his preparedness to offer effective legislative representation if sworn-in as a Lawmaker in 2023.
