Onuimo lawmaker, Uba holds constituency meeting; hails Uzodinma’s govt

August 21 (Newshour.com.ng) – The Honourable member representing the Onuimo state constituency in the Imo state House of Assembly, Owerri , Hon. Chief Uba James Esile has held a constituency meeting with his constituents shortly after his inauguration.
Hon Uba while addressing members of the fourth Estate of realm recently at the City Chef hotel Owerri noted that he has been holding this constituency meeting before his swearing in ceremony and promised to continue to brief his constituents regularly about happenings in the government and to attend to their challenges.
The business man turned politician said he has been in the business of empowering his constituents in the areas of scholarship, business support funds, etc before becoming a politician under the umbrella of FreshAir foundation as its President.
The grass root mobilizer said he is a grass rooter and knows the challenges of his people per time and promised to run an open door policy; and will continue to hold meetings with his constituents regularly.
He assured them of good governance and would make laws that would favour them and their businesses. He promised to continue his empowerment programme as the President of Fresh Air foundation, the organization he has been using to empower his people.
Chief Esile Uba commended Governor Hope Uzodinma on the massive road constructions across the state and for making the Okigwe major road motorable, a project his predecessors failed to achieve. He calls on Imo citizens to support Governor Uzodinma for the second term to finish what he is doing.

In his speech, the Director General of the lawmaker’s campaign organization, Mr Chikwem Simeon said Hon Uba James Esile their principal is a God-sent lawmaker who has been empowering his constituents with scholarship and trader money even before he became a politician. He stated that Hon Uba has been calling them for meetings even before his inauguration and had been putting smiles on their faces. He also noted that the meeting they just arose from was hosted by him and everyone went home with a smile. He, on behalf of group pledged their unalloyed loyalty and support for the lawmaker and wished him God’s blessings through out his tenure.
