Barr. Uche Onyeagucha, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for Imo East has urged INEC to separate Peter Obi’s presidential results from Imo East Senatorial results viewing portal and publish it on presidential viewing portal.
Onyeagucha made this known in a press statement by his media aide, Prince Macdonald Enwere and made available to this medium
The statement read, “The PDP Candidate for Imo East Senatorial District Hon. Barr. Uche Onyeagocha calls on the Independent National Electoral Commission to immediately withdraw all the results of Labour Party presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi that were published in Imo East Senatorial IREV portal.
“It has come to our notice that INEC published Mr. Peter Obi’s presidential results in Imo East Senatorial result viewing portal instead of the INEC presidential result viewing portal particularly results from Owerri Municipal and Owerri north LGAs. It is unpardonable that such a deliberate plot could be hatched to compromise the results of the Elections.
“We demand INEC to immediately withdraw all the presidential results of Mr Peter Obi from Imo East Senatorial result viewing portal and add them to Mr Peter Obi’s original results and publish in the INEC presidential result viewing portal where it should be. This is to ensure a seamless collation of Imo East Senatorial results from Owerri Municipal and Owerri north LGAs.
“We also call on the INEC to remove all the House of Representatives results which were published in Imo East Senatorial result viewing portal and immediately publish all Onyeagocha’s Senatorial results particularly from Owerri Municipal and Owerri North LGAs.”
