May 9 (Newshour.com.ng) – The Coordinator, Oru South Development Center, Barr. Ken Ezinwa Onyemejolam, has saluted Governor Hope Uzodimma over his sterling performance in Imo State.
Speaking to newsmen at the Imo State University Owerri Multipurpose Hall, during the official unveiling and public presentation of the compendium: “Development Centres: Instruments of Rural Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Recovery, Onyemejolam said the 3r led administration has done a lot of projects in ranging from road construction and rehabilitation across Imo State which he added are encouraging commercial activities and improving the economy.
He maintained that the Governor is developing the state to make life bearable for the citizens because he has their interests at his heart.
The Coordinator stressed that the revitalization and creation of new development centers by the Governor is a worthwhile achievement as the feat is enhancing rural development, reducing crime and violence as he expressed satisfaction of the good work he said the Governor is doing and called on the people to support him and reelect him to do more for them.
He described the book as apt as it contains biographies of the development centers including the coordinators and their members
The lawyer of repute who noted that Oru South Development Center as one of the oldest development centers in Oru East LGA is wearing new good look courtesy of the appointees, informed that the centre has headquarters at Umuokwe Otunne which he said was abandoned by previous governments.
He hinted that they have embarked on “some projects such as street lights, covet construction for drainage, been able to renovate the markets, pay school fees for pupils, students, maintains monthly sanitation exercise”.
