Solad cancelled Monday sit-at home order in Orlu

– Urges traders, NURTW, general public to disregard hoodlum’s order

May 23 (Newshour.com.ng) – The Sole Administrator Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State. Hon. Pastor Chris Mbarie has officially cancelled the illegal Monday sit at home order imposed by the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB which was later hijacked by hoodlums to perpetrate evil leading to unwanted destructions of lives and property in South Eastern Nigeria.
The Solad, who double as Director General, Imo Hope for Good Governance, said enough of the economic sabotage in the area by the Monday sit at home order.
Mbarie, through his SA Media, Chief Anslem Okonkwo instructed all traders, fuel station owners, members of National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW, Okada and Keke Napeep Operators and the general public to disregard illegal order from the hoodlums as IPOB has long ago cancelled Monday sit at home order.
In his words, “Enough is Enough on every Mondays sit at home in Orlu LGA.. We can’t continue like this again, we are calling on the traders in all the markets in Orlu, Building materials market, IMO international market Umuna, Old market Umuna, shopping Mall Onitsha park , Timber market, Orie Okporo Market, Electrical and Electronics Market Okporo, Afor Ogidi Market Amaifeke, Old Machine Spare parts Mgbuka others are, All the Fuel filling stations in Orlu area, The leadership of NURTW/ Motor parks in Orlu,The leadership of Okada Riders Association Orlu and The leadership of Keke na pepe, Tricycle Association Orlu to embrace the challenges and ensure that the Monday sit at home is stop by coming out en masse to revive the activities of business every Monday, not only in Orlu but in the entire South East region.

The Solad urges all Markets leaders and other Associations to inform their wards and the general public that henceforth Mondays are open for business in Orlu
Mbarie disclosed that his administration has cancelled Monday sit at home Order in Orlu LGA which was made known an interactive meeting with all the Markets Executives and Security Agencies in Orlu Local Government Area headquarters.
According to him, “All the security agents will be at work on every Mondays in Orlu area to enforce it to make sure everyone, markets, groups and Associations mentioned above goes about there normal businesses on Mondays without fear of harassment by this criminal elements,”
“People should come out on every Mondays to go about there works and businesses, without fear of being molested by any group of people”.
In his speech, ” he said security of life and property and restoration of peace in Orlu area, is his utmost priorities to achieve as Orlu solad. But must be achieve through collective contributions of all sundry in Orlu LGA”.
“He also said a Public enlightenment and sensitization program, will soon commence, on Radio stations and in all the markets, Churches and all motor parks to enlighten our people not to fear again which will enable us to achieve it effectively this time”
“He said Its out of fear our people are still hiding inside there houses on every Mondays in the name of sit at home were many states and LGAs within south east abandoned long time now”.
“Many states in south east region and communities are no more in line with such sit at home order by criminals element”
“Why is it only in Orlu and Orsu LGAs people still obey this criminals elements, he asked?”.
“He said Perhaps, the state government is not leaving any stones unturned in the fight against the issues of insecurity in this areas, and ask why can’t we help the state government to achieve the needed results in our communities? Instead of obeying government directives we choose to obey criminals bandits” S.A Media and Publicity, Okonkwo, explained.
