Nov. 15 (Newshour) – The Anointing of Faith ministry which is located in Owerri is a Christian prayer chapel founded about 27 years ago with the aim of of assisting God’s people with Holy Spirit- inspired solutions to the challenges confronting them in life.
The ministry, owing to the magnificent testimonies of God’s interventions in people’s lives, currently attracts numerous congregants, including business people, civil servants, politicians, etc. One of the recent testimonies from the Anointing of Faith ministry is that of Chief Peter Udeh who had his sight restored after four months of blindness through the prayers of the man of God at the Anointing of Faith ministry. According to Chief Udeh, his problems started after his friend took him to a native doctor for the purpose of resolving his business challenges.
Unknown to him, this friend of his had a plan to use him for a ritual to grow his own business. On realizing this, according to Chief Udeh, he fled the native doctor’s place and two days later he became blind. His business collapsed, his family was in disarray and to eat became a serious problem. One day, his wife informed him about the Anointing of Faith ministry in Owerri and the wonderful works of God there through the man of God. After resisting his wife’s pressure to attend the ministry for sometime, Chief Udeh bowed to her pressure and followed her to the church. On meeting with the man of God there, Chief Udeh said the servant of God gave him three days prayer and fasting and other instructors, with a promise that he would experience God’s visitation within 14 days. The man of God also told him other things about his life which he had not even told his wife.
After 14 days, as the man of God had assured him, Chief Udeh received his sight after four months of blindness. The next day a business partner of his in Italy who had been owing him for 4 years called and asked for his account details. He followed up by paying him the money owed since 4 years. Chief Udeh’s business bounced back and everything changed for good.
