Owerri, March 30 (Newshour.com.ng – The Fruit Sellers Association in Imo State have unanimously applauded the State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma for renovating their base in Relief Market, Owerri to a world class standard.
Speaking to newsmen, the Chairperson of the Fruit Sellers, Madam Charity Samuel expressed joy that they are now trading on top of the interlocking floor constructed by Uzodimma’s government.
Madam Samuel recalled how they use to loose so many fruits to mould during rainy season while offloading them from lorry thanking government for coming to their aid.
She thanked the leadership of Imo State Amalgamated Markets and Traders Association, ISAMATA led by Hon. Emmanuel Ezeanochie for their steadfastness.
According to her, “the market women massively voted for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in the just concluded general elections and will also vote for Governor Hope Uzodimma in the forthcoming Imo gubernatorial election”.
