Uzodimma has done more signature projects, says Imo Tactical Team

June 22 (Newshour.com.ng) – The Imo state Tactical Team (ITT) , a Support group, made up of professionals and artisans, has stated that Imo state governor, Distinguished Sen. Hope Uzodinma CON has done more signature projects than his predecessors.
The Imo state coordinator of the group, Engr. Eze Oguamanam stated this while addressing the Executives and members of the Relief market and Nwaorie lane industrial market on Thursday, the aim being to educate them about the various achievements of the Governor Uzodinma in his first tenure and to get their feelings.
Engr Eze accompanied by his state excos and 27 LGA coordinators x-rayed the various achievements of Gov.Uzodinma’s administration, which includes massive road constructions, free transportation for civil servants, establishment of civil service clinics, double promotions, lifting embargo on teachers’ employment, rehabilitation of Imo airports, upgrading Alvan Ikoku federal college of education to university of education, dredging of Urashi river in Oguta, just to mention but a few.
Oguamanam however urged traders to be ambassadors of the Imo Tactical Team and support the government of Governor Hope Uzodinma for he will surely reward them. He also urged them to support the second term bid of Governor Uzodinma come November 11, 2023.
The coordinator asked them to mention three projects that would be beneficial to the markets and promised to send the message to the governor who will in turn deliver at least one of them and finish the remaining during his second tenure.
One of the keynote speakers, Mr Uche Ogbonna coordinating OhajiEgbema LGA said Governor Hope Uzodinma has done very well: adding that the best thing he did was to connect Imo state to the national grid as most decisions cannot be taken without him. He said the governor has done well infrastructurally too by upgrading Federal Medical Center Owerri to a University teaching hospital, returned illegally acquired lands to its owners, restored Adapalm Nigeria Ltd to its past glory and to the benefits of the land owners. He urged them to support Governor Hope Uzodinma for second tenure.
Reacting, one the speakers from Relief market, Chief K.K. Okere thanked them for the visit but said they need loans to boost their businesses, meeting hall, NEPA light/ transformers etc and promised that they would support the governor for second term.
Hon. Kelechi Chukwukere, the chairman of Relief market thanked the ITT state officers for the visit and commended the Governor for building roads around the market for vehicles to pass but solicited for their assistance concerning the projects earlier mentioned and promised the support of his members to the government of Imo state for the good works they are doing.
Mr Stephen Osuji , PRO of Nwaorie lane industrial market said the governor has done well for the good road he gave to Okigwe people and other projects but urged him to give them 500KVA lister, Toilets, Secretariat etc for ease of work but pledged that they would deliver the governor for the second term.
The chairman of Nwaorie lane industrial market, Mr Gabriel Daniel urged the governor to deliver the three projects mentioned by his PRO and his former chairman and assured him of their unalloyed loyalty and support.
